Biography 2010

Born into a family of artists, Victoria knew at the age of 7 that she would be part of the entertainment world. The first steps she took towards her goal were at the age of 12 when she joined an acting troupe called Kids in Action. Similar to the Mickey Mouse Club, Victoria along with many of its members grew up to become successful actors. Victoria then signed up for the renowned professional theatre program at John Abbott College in Montreal, Canada. She graduated in 1996 and immediately started landing lead roles in tv series and films. She was Grace in the popular Fox Family series Student Bodies and between 1996 and 1998 she Guest Starred in other Fox series as well. Movie offers started pouring in between 1998 and 2006. Victoria starred in the HBO tv movie Code Name: Jaguar, indie features Perpetrators of the Crime, Saint Jude, This is my Father, Wolf Girl (aka Blood Moon, for which she received a nomination at the Fangoria Chainsaw Awards), the short film The Promise (Best Actress Nominee at the Yorkton Film Festival) the thriller Eternal and Noel. Victoria also made her mark in the following tv movies: Choice (CBC), Flirting with Danger (Lifetime), When Angels come to Town (CBS). She played the memorable character of Princess Xayide in the award-winning series Tales from the Neverending Story and guest starred in 15 Love, Naked Josh, This is Wonderland, Emmy award nominated P.T Barnum (Hallmark), The Hunger (Showtime), Satan’s School for Girls (ABC), Largo Winch (Paramount) and Undressed (MTV).

Her immense versatility brought her back to the stage at the famous Centaur Theatre in Montreal, first in 2004 in the Pulitzer award winning play Anna in the Tropics where she received rave reviews for her role as Marela and again in 2006 in Glorious! In between her film and TV acting work Victoria also got cast for her voice talent in video games such as Open Season, Rainbow 6, and Splinter Cell.  Aside from acting Victoria is also  the founder of Just Believe Productions and owns the rights to the award-winning bestseller Wait Till Helen Comes. She adapted the book for the big screen and production should begin in 2010. In 2007, Victoria also collaborated as production manager on 3 Saisons, a low budget film that has been touring the world as an official selection at more than 20 festivals. The film has already won 4 International awards and is nominated at this year’s Genie Awards in Canada in 3 categories, including Best Film. The film was also selected at the 10th edition of the Beverly Hills Film Festival.

Victoria’s most recent credits include the pilot Tangled (CBC) and the pilot presentations Gringo (Fox) and The Future Life of Jake (MTV). Victoria also co-starred in the Lifetime features You Belong to Me and The Watch and does a cameo in the film Let the Game Begin premiering in the U.S. in 2010.

  1. Fascinating and beautiful lady! Tales from the Neverending Story – she is wickedly wonderful as Xayide. It actually was neverending, since the last episode was a cliff-hanger, with Fallon joining Xayide in Fantasia. I so wanted more!
